torch is running

After some difficulty, I got my oxygen tank filled for the cutting torch. I watched a bunch of youtube videos on how to operate an Oxy/Acetylene torch, sought the advise of other's that use them, and read the instruction manual. The result was that, I can now operate the torch safely, and there has been no large explosions in the shop! :)

Yesterday, I cut up some large leaf springs (semi truck springs,) that a friend gave me, for use in a garden tool that dad and I are working on. The torch is a wonderful tool and made short work of the heavy springs!

If those are semi springs than your semis must be smaller than ours, around here a semi has springs about an inch thick

I use a MAPP torch, so regulators and tanks are very standard. I probably will upgrade to an acetylene torch sometime. Good to know about those regulators, though.
