Pictures of the completed hammer

Here are the pictures of the finished chasing and reppouse treadle hammer. I am very pleased with the hammer, it works like a charm, and I look forward to using it to create some fine pieces of metal work.

I also forged out some 2-inch solid square 4140 tool steel tonight. (4-inch long piece) I used the Kinyon air hammer for this task. I was just trying to get the steel down to a more manageable size for making some new tools.
